Meet the founder

Meet Dr. Cindel, DNP, FNP-BC
Founder, JournHe 2 the AltHER™ | First Lady | Speaker | Christian Mentor | Family Nurse Practitioner |AuthorWith 13+ years of caring for patients at the bedside as a Registered Nurse, Cindel is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner, First Lady, speaker, author, Christian mentor, and founder of JournHe 2 the AltHER™, a transformational mentorship movement that equips women to become whole in Christ before saying, “I do.”
Serving alongside her husband in ministry, Dr. Cindel is committed to helping women discover their God-given identity, experience emotional and spiritual healing, and prepare for healthy, Christ-centered marriages. She believes that while many women spend months preparing for a wedding, far too few intentionally prepare for marriage. Through biblical discipleship, practical coaching, and authentic mentorship, she empowers women to become the wives, leaders, and daughters of God they were created to be.
Her own testimony is one of remarkable transformation. Having journeyed from brokenness, insecurity, and misplaced identity to confidence and freedom in Christ, she understands firsthand the power of God’s redeeming grace. Today, she uses that testimony to inspire women to exchange shame for purpose, fear for faith, and pain for God’s promises.
In addition to her ministry work, Dr. Cindel is a healthcare professional with a passion for whole-person wellness, recognizing that true healing encompasses the body, mind, and spirit. She is also the founder of the Fashionably Saved Foundation, through which she develops faith-based initiatives that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
Whether speaking from the platform, mentoring women one-on-one, or leading transformational programs, Dr. Cindel’s mission remains the same: to see women healed, equipped, empowered, and confidently walking in the identity God has called them to embrace.
Unlike many personal development programs, JournHe 2 the AltHER™ is rooted in lived experience. Every lesson reflects principles that Dr. Cindel has personally wrestled with, learned from, and applied throughout her own journey of healing and restoration, which is also detailed in her book Dare 2 D*zIGHER.Dr. Cindel’s Personal Statement
